How we handle your information

HelpBecome is a private scouting and partnership intelligence platform connecting emerging tennis Players with Brands. This page describes, in plain terms, what information we collect and how we use it. It is not yet a finalized legal policy.

From Players and applicants: application details, contact information, date of birth, tennis history and ranking data, representation details (self, guardian, agent, manager or other representative), and profile content submitted for the Scouting Room.

From Brands: company and contact details, verification documents (legal name, domain, work email, role), Scouting Brief content, and partnership activity.

Platform activity: actions relevant to matching and introductions (Talent Graph events), such as a Brief being submitted, a Player being recommended, or an introduction being requested.

To evaluate Player applications, operate the matching and Scouting Room experience, present Player profiles to Brands consistent with platform terms, facilitate introductions and partnerships, and communicate operational updates (application status, verification outcomes, introduction and partnership activity).

Brands see the Player information included in a published Scouting Room profile. Private contact details for a Player's representative are not shared with a Brand until an introduction has been requested and authorized through the platform.

Where a Player is a minor, HelpBecome requires a guardian or an authorized representative with confirmed commercial authority before the Player's profile can proceed into an unrestricted commercial workflow. The specific legal requirements for handling minors' data and consent vary by jurisdiction and are pending legal review.

We retain information for as long as it is needed to operate the platform and for legitimate business or legal purposes. Specific retention periods and security commitments are pending legal review.
